The standards behind the score
MomMetabolic publishes evidence-first, women's-health-framed reviews of GLP-1 care. Four rules govern how every guide and ranking on this site is made.
01Every claim carries a source
Medical and efficacy statements are tied to a primary reference — a peer-reviewed trial or official FDA labeling — not to secondhand summaries. If we can't point to the source, we don't print the claim.
02We separate proof from extrapolation
Most large GLP-1 trials weren't designed around mothers specifically. Where a finding comes from a broader population and is being applied to postpartum, breastfeeding, PCOS, or perimenopausal readers, we say so in plain language rather than dressing extrapolation up as settled fact.
03Facts get re-checked; scores are judgment
Pricing, states served, formulary, and oversight reflect each provider's public disclosures at the time of review, and we re-verify them because this market shifts constantly. The Metabolic-Fit Score on top of those facts is our editorial judgment, applied identically to every provider.
04Revenue never reaches the ranking
Referral relationships are disclosed site-wide and walled off from scoring. Corrections are made promptly and noted. And none of this replaces a clinician who knows your case — see our medical disclaimer and funding disclosure.
