Ivim Health review
Elena Voss is a mother writing for mothers, not a treating clinician, and holds no medical license. Prices and terms come from the company's own published pages. This is background reading, not medical advice.
Ivim Health is one of the more hands-on GLP-1 programs out there: weekly app check-ins with dose changes from a provider, unlimited provider visits, functional health coaches and a women's hormone program, plus brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound through its traditional program. The catch is commitment. Compounded semaglutide works out to about $150 a month and tirzepatide about $208 only on a six-month program, once the required $74.99 monthly fee is added, and a program cannot be canceled once it starts. There is no month-to-month option. Ivim also holds a February 2026 FDA warning letter because labels on its site implied it compounded the medication itself. Compounded care isn't offered in every state, and no list is published.

How we scored Ivim Health
Every factor comes from Ivim Health's own published pricing, disclosures and oversight, and the six combine into the 57/100 Metabolic-Fit Score on our weighted six-factor framework. Commissions don't change a provider's score.
No postpartum or breastfeeding framing — a generic weight program.
Thin on the hormonal picture that drives many mothers' weight.
Oversight and lab support fall short of the best on our list — the review below says exactly where.
Cost is unpredictable or sits at the premium end.
Standard support — enough to stay on track, not high-touch.
Exit terms are the weak point: lock-in, notice periods, or a cancellation you have to chase.

What we like
- Weekly app check-ins with dose adjustments from a provider
- Unlimited provider visits and functional health coaches
- Brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound through its traditional program
- A microdose option and a women's hormone program
- Outcome claims footnoted to published studies of its own patients
The caveats
- Carries an FDA warning letter, #721816, dated February 20, 2026, over product labels on its site that implied Ivim compounded the semaglutide and tirzepatide
- No month-to-month option; programs of one to six months cannot be canceled once started
- A required $74.99 monthly program fee sits on top of every medication price
- Prices for the one- and four-month standard programs are not published
- Prescribed medication is non-refundable, and paused time does not extend a program
- Compounded care is not available in every state, and no list is published
- Nothing on its program pages addresses breastfeeding or postpartum timing
The care model is more substantial than a medication card
Ivim describes weekly app check-ins, provider-led dose adjustments, unlimited provider visits, functional health coaches and a dedicated patient-experience team. It also has a women’s hormone program and a traditional route for brand Wegovy or Zepbound. Those are specific service distinctions for someone who wants an ongoing program, rather than only a prescription and a delivery notification.
The decision is whether that support is worth the commitment attached to the selected program. Unlimited visits do not mean unlimited flexibility to leave, and a weekly check-in is not a guarantee that a particular dose will be prescribed. Ask what contact with the clinician actually looks like, how changes are reviewed and which parts of the broader program are included for your chosen treatment.
Add the required program fee before comparing prices
Its six-month compounded semaglutide program is advertised from $75 a month and tirzepatide from $133, each plus a $74.99 monthly program fee. The corresponding published starting totals are about $150 and $208 a month. Comparing the medication-only $75 or $133 with another service’s full treatment price would leave out a required recurring charge.
Ivim mentions one-, two-, four- and six-month program lengths, but it does not publish every standard-program price. The six-month figure therefore should not be presented as a freely cancelable month-to-month offer. Ask for the actual total of the proposed program and identify which payments are collected upfront, which recur and which charges remain due if treatment is paused.
Pausing is not the same as extending your purchase
The program FAQ says cancellation is not available once a program starts. The refund policy says prescribed medication is non-refundable regardless of usage, program duration or membership cancellation. It also states that inactive time does not extend the medication program period or create refund eligibility. This is a consequential distinction for someone who may need to interrupt treatment or travel during the purchase period.
Membership status matters to fulfillment as well: the policy says medication will not ship while membership is canceled or a payment fails. A buyer should therefore understand the medication commitment and the continuing care fee together. Before enrolling, ask how the program handles a clinical change, delayed use or an interruption the prescriber considers necessary, without assuming that an unused supply automatically generates credit.
The FDA letter concerns a specific labeling problem
FDA issued warning letter 721816 to Ivim Services LLC dba Ivim. The letter concerns product labels on Ivim’s site that suggested Ivim itself compounded the semaglutide and tirzepatide. The letter identifies Ivim’s own labeling and legal entity.
Ivim also footnotes some outcome claims to retrospective observational studies of its own patients. That is more specific than an unexplained success percentage, but observational results do not guarantee an individual outcome or prove superiority to another program. Women’s health marketing alone does not establish specialist expertise in postpartum or lactation care.
Decide on the commitment before selecting the lowest average
The microdose menu has its own two-, four- and six-month price table, with the same required program fee added. A microdose amount is not the price for a standard weight-loss course. Compounded treatment is also described as unavailable in some states without a complete published list, so confirm the actual treatment and address before planning around it.
Ivim is most relevant when a patient values its continuing contacts and can accept the selected program’s financial duration. Someone who needs an uncomplicated monthly exit has a clear reason to compare alternatives. Separate the clinical support, the medication, the program fee and the cancellation commitment; the six-month starting average is only one part of that choice.
The bottom line for mothers
Best for: A mom who wants weekly check-ins and coaching and is sure she can commit to six months, or one whose insurance may cover brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound.

Ivim Health, answered
- What will Ivim cost me each month?
- Add the medication to a required $74.99 monthly program fee. On a six-month program that comes to about $150 a month for semaglutide and $208 for tirzepatide. Shorter programs cost more per month, and the one- and four-month standard prices aren't published.
- Can I stop partway through a program?
- No. Ivim says cancellation is not available once a program starts, because the medication is prescribed and shipped for the full length you chose, and prescribed medication is non-refundable. Choose the shortest program you can live with.
- What is Ivim's FDA warning letter about?
- In February 2026 the FDA wrote to Ivim because product labels shown on its website carried the Ivim name, suggesting Ivim made the compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide when a pharmacy did. It concerns how the products were presented, not a test of their quality.
- How closely will a provider follow me?
- Closely, by telehealth standards. Ivim runs weekly check-ins in its app, with dose changes from a provider, and the membership includes unlimited provider visits and functional health coaches.
- Can I use insurance?
- For brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound through its traditional program, possibly. The compounded programs are self-pay.
