Start with the membership and medication together

Mochi’s cash-pay program separates care from medication. Monthly membership costs $79, while compounded semaglutide starts at $60 and compounded tirzepatide at $90 per month. That makes the recurring starting injection totals $139 and $169, respectively. The lower medication-only figures are useful for understanding the bill, but they are not the amount to set aside for the complete program.

The public FAQ says medication shipping is included. Diagnostic services are separate, and medication availability and prices vary by state. Ask whether any tests are required for your particular prescription and what those will cost. A household comparing two providers needs the same set of expenses on both sides, especially when one combines its care and medication charges.

The dose ladder changes the longer-term budget

Mochi’s public medication selectors show individual injection prices by dose. Including monthly care, the eight semaglutide tiers run from $139 to $268 and the seven tirzepatide tiers from $169 to $278. Those are the seller’s own listed strengths and prices, not a recommendation to increase a dose or a claim that its compounded strengths are interchangeable with brand-name products.

This matters if you are comparing Mochi’s lowest tier with a competitor promising one price at every dose. A low starting payment does not establish the cost at your eventual prescribed strength. Prepaid care lowers the equivalent, with a larger commitment

The FAQ lists care memberships at $207 for three months, $354 for six months and $588 for twelve months. Their monthly equivalents are $69, $59 and $49. Medication remains an additional expense. These are different payment commitments from the $79 monthly option, so the lowest prepaid care equivalent should not be presented as a month-to-month program price.

The public offer also shows a new-subscriber discount on the first care payment. Treat that as an introductory saving when checking your own eligibility. It does not reduce the ongoing medication charge or establish what every later month will cost. Before prepaying, read the cancellation and refund terms for the selected membership and ask what happens to unused care time if treatment stops.

The product options need separate comparisons

Mochi also lists compounded oral semaglutide starting at $62 for medication, or $141 with monthly care. A compounded oral preparation is not an FDA-approved oral product. Its price and route should be considered separately from an injection, rather than used to imply that all semaglutide treatment is available at the same cost.

Brand Zepbound appears in a separate medication lane: the public selector lists $299 at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg and $449 at the listed higher strengths. Care membership is additional. Confirm the brand offer’s supply period, prescription requirements and applicable terms before adding those charges into a budget. Insurance-based care memberships have their own terms and should not be substituted for the cash-pay membership when calculating a self-pay total.

Who may find the care model useful

The advertised care model includes a provider and registered dietitian, with ongoing visits and support. That may appeal to someone who wants nutrition support alongside prescription management. Establish how to reach the clinical team between appointments, what response time to expect and which pharmacy would dispense the proposed medication. For postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, pregnancy planning or PCOS, broad access to a care team does not establish that a particular treatment is suitable. Discuss those circumstances directly with the prescribing clinician. Mochi is easiest to assess when you have an actual formulation, dose, membership term and state-specific quote; its public starting price alone cannot answer all four questions.
