One of the lowest listed prices for compounded GLP-1s — $89 a month for semaglutide and $149 for tirzepatide, the same at every dose, with the visit, supplies and shipping included — from a company that received an FDA warning letter in June 2026 and treats every payment as final. Cancellation needs 72 hours' notice, and a documented trinitymeds trademark connection deserves attention.

How we scored altRx
Every factor comes from altRx's own published pricing, disclosures and oversight, and the six combine into the 56/100 Metabolic-Fit Score on our weighted six-factor framework. Commissions don't change a provider's score.
No postpartum or breastfeeding framing — a generic weight program.
Thin on the hormonal picture that drives many mothers' weight.
Oversight and lab support fall short of the best on our list — the review below says exactly where.
Fair pricing once you read past any teaser or plan structure.
Support is thin once the prescription ships.
Exit terms are the weak point: lock-in, notice periods, or a cancellation you have to chase.

What we like
- Low listed prices: $89 a month for compounded semaglutide and $149 for tirzepatide
- The same price at every dose, with the visit, supplies and shipping included and no membership fee
- Names its compounding pharmacies, with addresses
- Available in all 50 states, with video or asynchronous visits depending on state
The caveats
- FDA warning letter 728236, dated June 8, 2026, to Trinity HealthCare Supply, LLC dba altRx, over labels suggesting it compounds the drugs and 'clinically proven' claims for compounded GLP-1s
- All payments are final; refunds only if a provider finds you ineligible
- Cancellation needs 72 hours' notice before the billing date
- The official trinitymeds trademark application names Trinity HealthCare Supply LLC, the FDA letter recipient. Trinity Meds’ current service agreement names Trinity Meds Inc; the trademark connection does not establish identical legal entities.
- No pregnancy, breastfeeding or PCOS guidance, and some testimonials are from paid endorsers
A low recurring price with a consequential exit policy
AltRx is worth comparing for its published treatment price, but the decision should begin with two facts together. It lists compounded semaglutide at $89 a month and tirzepatide at $149, with the consultation, injection supplies and shipping included. FDA also issued warning letter 728236 to Trinity HealthCare Supply, LLC dba altRx. The letter identifies this operator and altRx's website directly.
The price pages say the amount stays the same at every dose and advertise no separate membership fee. That makes the published monthly amount more useful for budgeting than a low starter-dose quote with an undisclosed maintenance ladder. It does not establish that every patient is eligible, that every formulation is appropriate, or that a prescription will be issued. Treat the consultation as a medical assessment rather than a promise to obtain a particular product.
Read the refund rule before choosing a plan
The refund policy is more restrictive than the phrase “cancel anytime” might suggest. The policy says subscription payments are final and non-refundable at purchase, with an exception for medical disqualification covering the unused portion of the term. It also says multi-month plans are not refundable in whole or in part. These terms matter even when the recurring amount looks affordable: paying for more time can expose more money to the same restriction.
Cancellation requires at least 72 hours before the next billing date, using email, telephone or the portal. Stopping a future renewal is therefore a different question from recovering a payment already made. Before authorizing payment, confirm the next charge date and whether your selected offer creates any prepaid commitment. A reminder several days before renewal is more useful here than assuming that a cancellation request instantly reverses an existing order.
What the company actually discloses
AltRx names several compounding pharmacies, including RedRock, Health Warehouse, Precision Medicine and Triad Rx, with addresses on its pharmacy list. Clinical services are attributed to OpenLoop Healthcare Partners and affiliated practices, while the platform describes an administrative role. That separation helps identify whom to ask about prescribing, dispensing and billing. A named pharmacy is useful accountability information; it does not make the compounded medication FDA-approved.
Its brand Wegovy and Zepbound pages list prices at $1,579 and $1,249 a month respectively. Those are distinct branded offers, not equivalent prices for the compounded plans. The business relationship around Trinity also needs precision: the documented Trinity trademark connection involves Trinity HealthCare Supply LLC, while Trinity’s current service agreement names Trinity Meds Inc. That brand connection should not be stretched into a claim that every named entity is legally identical.
Who should pause before enrolling
Its public pages do not provide pregnancy, breastfeeding or PCOS guidance specific enough to support choosing altRx for maternal expertise. Its all-state availability claim is qualified by provider licensing and the state-dependent choice between video and asynchronous review. Confirm the treatment available at your address rather than treating nationwide marketing as an individual eligibility decision.
This option is easiest to assess for someone who wants a disclosed flat treatment price and can accept the payment and cancellation terms. Someone who values refundable unused treatment, a named maternal-care pathway or more flexible financial exposure has reasons to keep comparing. Read our comparison guide using the full recurring cost, and treat the FDA letter and the exit policy as separate decisions rather than allowing the low price to answer either one.
The bottom line for mothers
Best for: A budget-first mother who wants a low, flat compounded price and is comfortable with an all-sales-final policy and no postpartum guidance.

CoreAge RxFeatured partnerCoreAge's officially linked public offer advertises compounded semaglutide at $79/month and tirzepatide at $129/month across doses, with care and overnight shipping included. It describes one-time purchases without a required subscription. Main navigation still shows semaglutide from $99; confirm your prescription quantity and total, and read the refund limits before paying.
- Visit RxSpan MD57
Metabolic-Fit / 100
RxSpan MD is a genuinely well-disclosed service wrapped in marketing that undercuts it. The disclosure: four compounding pharmacies named with phone numbers, two lead physicians named with NPI numbers that verify as active MDs, flat pricing posted before any intake, both compounded and real FDA-approved brand GLP-1s on one platform, and oral capsules for anyone who won't inject. Compounded semaglutide is $249 a month and tirzepatide $329, with brand Zepbound at $1,069, Ozempic at $1,299 and Wegovy at $1,349. The marketing is the problem. Its testimonials still name a different company — one patient describes what she 'expected from CareGLP' — and the doctors quoted in them are not the clinicians the same page names as its medical team. The homepage is built around a board-certified plastic surgeon who founded the practice but is licensed in California only and isn't the prescriber. Its compounded prices also sit above the typical price we track, and the oral capsules cost the same or more than the injections.

altRx, answered
- What does altRx cost?
- Compounded semaglutide is listed at $89 a month and compounded tirzepatide at $149, and altRx says the price stays the same at every dose. The consultation, medication, injection supplies and shipping are included, with no membership fee. Brand-name pens are listed too, at $1,579 a month for Wegovy and $1,249 for Zepbound.
- Can I get a refund from altRx?
- Almost never. Its policy says all payments are final and non-refundable at the time of purchase, including multi-month plans. The exception is a provider finding you medically ineligible. To stop the next charge, cancel by email, phone or the portal at least 72 hours before your billing date.
- Is altRx related to Trinity Meds?
- The official trinitymeds trademark application names Trinity HealthCare Supply LLC, the FDA letter recipient. Trinity Meds’ current service agreement names Trinity Meds Inc; the trademark connection does not establish identical legal entities. Clinical care for altRx is described as coming from OpenLoop Healthcare Partners and its affiliated practices.
- What was the FDA warning letter about?
- In June 2026 the FDA wrote to Trinity HealthCare Supply, LLC dba altRx about its website showing 'altRx' on product labels, which suggested altRx compounds the drugs when it does not, and about calling compounded GLP-1s 'clinically proven'. The FDA treated those as false or misleading claims for drugs it has not approved.
- Can I use altRx while breastfeeding?
- AltRx publishes nothing on pregnancy or nursing. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide have no label of their own, and brand-name injectable labels call for an individual breastfeeding benefit-risk assessment. Raise it with the provider before you start; our breastfeeding guide explains the evidence.
Pricing, states and verification reflect altRx's public disclosures at last review; the Metabolic-Fit Score is our editorial judgment per the published methodology.
